The Genus Care photo frame is a communication device designed for seniors and people with disability to stay in touch via secure video calls and photo sharing with family, friends and carers using the Genus Care App.

It features 7 in-built intelligent sensors that detect any changes in standard routines, allowing healthcare providers or carer’s remote insight into the comfort and well-being of the senior or person with a disability who is using the device.

How do you use the Genus Smart Photo Frame?

The Genus Photo Frame is simply placed in the room, connected to power and WiFi and then it is ready for secure video calls or photo sharing. 

It is user-friendly and designed for people with limited technology experience, or with different accessibility needs. One button push can connect to a family member, friend or carer.

Family, friends and carers can pair the Genus Care frame with the App (subscription required) to share unlimited photos and make unlimited video calls to the Frame user. The Genus Care app encourages regular interaction, and creates a secure social network.

Healthcare Professionals

The Genus Home Care System connects to a healthcare provider dashboard, that will allow you to:

  • Conduct regular remote healthcare checks via video calls.
  • Send recurring messages for medication instructions and review client responses.
  • Remotely monitor daily routines and living environments of all clients, without compromising their privacy.
  • Program and set alert notifications to detect any change in living conditions such as temperature, movement, light, or air quality for all clients.
  • Receive emergency notifications from clients in need.
  • Report all client interactions, responses and environmental monitoring.

Monitoring With App Alerts

Stay informed of your loved ones’ daily well-being with Genus Care. The 7 in-built intelligent sensors quickly detect changes in light, air quality (such as gas), movement, humidity, temperature, touch, and sound that will trigger immediate alerts if there is a change in the standard routines.

You can also set alert reminders via the App.

What is required to set up this device?

The Genus Care Frame requires a good internet connection (WiFi) and electricity to charge the adaptor. It also has a built-in battery as a back up.

The frame does not require a phone line or sim card, it only uses WiFi to connect. Check access to WiFi before purchasing.

The Genus Care App is installed on compatible smartphones, for users who want to interact with the Genus Care Frame owner.
